I took the list from the girl scout site, which says "Tagalongs[tm] or Peanut Butter Patties[tm]"  I went with the latter just 'cause it's more descriptive of the cookie, and not everyone would remember the brand name.  I'd edit to put both but it won't let me edit the poll items.

I'll answer your poll but the basic order of preference is

1) Samoas
2) Thin Mints
3) Shortbread

I find it a little bit disheartening that the two most disgusting GS cookies (Samoas and Thin Mints) are also the most popular according to Wikipedia.

well I haven't bought a box in years, since my little sister hasn't been a girl scout in some time (and because Mindy makes homemade chocolate chip cookies that blow away anything that ever came out of a commercial bakery, and that is good enough for me), but I remember them always being called Samoas.

My keyboard at home is broken, so I was only able to communicate this morning by what I could easily copy/paste using my mouse.  I was particularly angry to see this thread, because I was going to go on a tear about how fucking much I love Samoas.  But all I could do was impotently click over to Wikipedia, and copy:

I think the underlying point here is if the Girl Scouts sold Milanos--either ripped directly from the Pepperidge Farms sacks and clandestinely repackaged or if they baked a comparable proprietary cookie and slapped it with some cloying punny South Pacific moniker like Ta-Hee-Tees or Kooki-batis--I'd be throwing those green-sashed li'l capitalists a lot more money than I do now. I think their cookies are generally unremarkable considering the rather hefty price, actually, but at the same time I have a heart and what kind of dick turns down girl scout cookies?

Unremarkable doesn't mean bad or unenjoyable. Milanos aren't exactly the best example of a price point to quality ratio, either, I just have a taste for 'em.
