Dudes my phone died! I don't know what's happening on it. Ah shit. We went to Franks N Dogs or whatever earlier. It was no Hot Doug's, but still pretty good. Also, the Clyburn Goose Island. We're chilling at Jerod's for a bit and working on this handle of Beam, and Jerod has to work at some bar called Estelles somewhere near North/Damon/Milwaukee, but we may not get there until like midnight.

Ah crap. Well sorry I missed everyone. Such is the way when traveling with 4 other dudes. It was kind of a "Shit we haven't seen Jerod and Jeny in awhile and they can't afford to come home for awhile so let's all go to them instead" sort of thing. Then my phone died and my own computer was at home so I had pretty limited access... that's how things go sometimes.
We ended up leaving around 2 this afternoon because some dudes needed to be back earlier than others. Super solid weekend, though, and I'll be back soon enough.

Hey folks! We are trying to figure out our plans for this weekend, so I was wondering what y'all are up to, whether you'd be able/like to get together, and when would work best for you. We are (so far) open pretty much whenever Friday and Saturday, and Sunday morning/early afternoon, but M is also trying to get together with some of her friends so I'd like to at least try to make some firm(ish) plans.

I don't really have any firm plans this weekend.  Have 5 gallons of beer to brew, which'll be about a 6 hour process, but that can be either Saturday or Sunday, and depending on when the hanging out will occur and when I can get started on the brewing, might not interfere.  Mindy is having a wine party for her friends at our house Friday night and would like me to be around to run interference on the kids while that's going on but is OK with me hanging out with you instead.  So let me know what you come up with and I'll probably be able to make it up for it.

I know y'all just did a Chicago thing, but I think the missus and I will be out for some days over spring break next week. Would really love to see y'all, and we're planning on doing shit up right--any and all suggestions for good eats, good drinks and good times will be entertained and likely acted upon. It's been about five years since we were in the city.

Not sure yet. It's only a 4.5hr drive, so we can pretty much leave whenever we want, and stay as long as we like. Is there anything of note going on in town in the near future that might have some bearing on that decision?

Possibly! Probably! ... I'm mostly just asking for my own selfish reasons, though, as the next three weeks are going to be pretty hellish for me, schedule-wise, so I just want to make sure to try to be free at least a little bit when you guys are in town.

And hh even if you could get away for just a couple hours for drinks or a meal, that'd be awesome. We could even come down to Hyde Park if there's anywhere worth going down there.

*That's not to say there isn't, either--I've never been to the neighborhood.

Hey dudes, sorry I didn't make it last night.  This thing involving naked women reading creepy SVU-style short stories ran long.  Like, ran long in that it was supposed to be done at 8:30 pm and shit did not end until 12:30 am. I thought I was living this sexy libertine lifestyle but really this shit is kinda creepy and I'd have rather been crushing brews with my internet friends!
