Huh. I'm finally getting around now to typing up some of the remaining fieldnotes at the the conference I went to observe last month, and stumbled across this quote from one of the speakers, made as the closing statement for his presentation:
"That's all. Any questions? Please easy English and slowly English."

Surprisingly enough, there were no questions.

Heh. These sorts of things (Fittest Cities in the US! 1,000 Best High Schools! Most Livable Town!) are always derived from suspect, arbitrary methodologies, but this is especially silly. I'm not convinced that lust and chlamydia are the same thing.

My county is a "hot spot" for four out of the seven deadly sins. Huzzah!
I'm pretty sure this geographical 7 deadly sin thing is a (pretty funny) joke at the expense of the type of maps you mention.
