Actually now that I've given it some serious consideration the right portrayal from Ed Harris would actually be pretty brilliant.

"it's mislabeled a meltdown but this guy is just an effusive actor who is very courageous at chasing down his emotions for communicative purposes. i laud this as text."

Netflix is streaming both
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
and
Repo Man
. I can just alternate between the two on repeat!

They are filming a
movie
not that far from my house!
Here's the film's website:

Hopefully they don't butcher everything anarchism is about, though they probably will.
However, it is produced in association with Sacco & Vanzetti LLC so maybe that is promising?

I got out
The Death Of Mr Lazarescu
last night, and then got disracted and busy. This morning i realised it was an overnight rental, oh no! So I had to sit down and watch it, nearly making me late for class. I think my feeling of urgency about watching the whole thing, combined with the fact that C's dad is in hospital for the third time this year, meant that, while I liked it, I was completely baffled as to why it was marketed as a comedy. Normally black comedies are one of the first things to make me laugh, but this... this film was tragic. There were things that i thought, yeah, if you weren't paying any attention they might be funny, but really, two and a half hours of watching an old man die at the hands of the incompetent beauraucracy of the hospital system... not a whole lot of belly laughs, there. That said, i thought the film was great. I had expected something a lot more slow and meditative, and while it moved slowly it was not a quiet film at all. I thought the old man playing Lazarescu was fantastic.

It's also directionless and boring as hell. "Gimme Shelter" is worlds better.

Hey Andrew, we saw Adventureland! It was great. Jesse Eisenberg > Michael Cera, IMO.
