I have to recommend
Flesh of my Skin, Blood of my Blood
by Keith Hudson too
it's pretty song-based, so I don't know if this is the straight-up-heavy-dub-all-the-way-through thing you may be looking for but damn I love this album

Augustus Pablo's
El Rocker's
LP was the one that opened the door for me. No vocals.

Thanks again - I'm onto a few of these leads.
But I must admit, I got sidetracked and it turned into a Bob Marley & The Wailers Sunday - v
Catch A Fire, Burnin'
and
Rastaman Vibration
.

I'll second the Yabby You rec and add Prince Far I to the list. I've been meaning to pick up Heart Of The Congos for years. I should really get on that.

I would push Burning Spear's Garvey's Ghost, the dub versions of the song-based Marcus Garvey.
