Lady, if you don't stop screaming and waking me up every day, I'm going to come in there and start screaming, and I am going to use very big, and very angry words. I may also wave my cane at you in a very menacingly old man manner.

My doctor, who told me I was too fat to live, ordered a bazillion blood tests for me and the results show that I am an exceptionally healthy individual.  Suck on that, Dr. Dickface.  Man, I am still so pissed at that guy.

I've seen pictures of you. This guy would probably look at ME and go, "You have approximately 30 minutes to live."

At which time I'd be like, "Cool, I'm gonna use that time to go get a burrito!"

My motivation has gone to shit. I can't tell if I'm still exhausted from the drive back or depressed  because I hate it here, but I can't seem to get a goddamn thing done. I stayed up later than I wanted to last night, I woke up later than I wanted to today, I went out with the specific intention of getting some motivational food, but now all I want to do is take a nap. Fuck it, I think I will take a nap. Lord knows I'm not accomplishing much right now. Grrrrrr.

My doctor, who told me I was too fat to live,

Wow, your doctor's genitals need to be introduced to the boots of a person with very large boots.

I am currently annoyed because my feeling of elation at acing the living fuck out of my final exams has been dampened by Almanzo.

if it's any consolation, you've got me interested in Frownland. I'm pretty sure I saw it on the Cinefamily calendar while I was there over spring break but that it screened after I left.

off-topic entirely, I'm impressed that Cinefamily has made such a go of it. when they began I didn't think they could survive with such a militantly idiosyncratic calendar, but kudos to them!

Thank you, it is a great consolation. I think I will just avoid the thread in question. Let us have a new Phil Dick thread.

My mother's ex-boyfriend came over. she's on vacation. he tried to convince me that she was going to loan him money. I tried to avoid letting him into the house. When I did so, two men got out of the car he had arrived in and started walking over, all threateningly. I told him to go fuck himself and slammed the door. The few words I could understand that was shouting were not pretty, so I guess it's best that I don't understand the others!

Now I'm cranky!

Jesus, I'd be a bit more than cranky if that happened to me. Did they leave?

My surly note: I am moving in 2.5 weeks. They cannot come fast enough, as she's been singing and knocking things against the wall for the past 2 hours, and doesn't understand why maybe she should stop it. In response I ate too many cupcakes, and now I have a stomach ache. And it is all her fault.

Yeah, they left. The man is hardly under the radar, and even though he's stupid, I don't think he's stupid enough to do anything that will get him back in jail. He genuinely thought I would believe him and give him money, is the thing.

He is my least favorite person in the world. I feel I can fully and justly place all of the blame on him for my rather miserable past home life, the loss of our house, and the fact that I have no help paying for college.

Esp. since this would be great documentation for building a case for a restraining order. Nothing good can come from assholes showing up and demanding money. In fact, call the cops and file a report anyway.

If it happens again, I will, but last time he got in trouble, my mom got dragged into court with him and it was a disaster. He can try to trick me all he wants. I'm willing to be the roadrunner to his coyote because it's superbly satisfying when he, you know, nose dives off a cliff.

That's a fat drag that your mom has to get involved. I hope dude hits the canyon floor hard.

Wow -- you are me: moving because of noisy neighbor, and soothing myself with cupcakes in the meantime.

Megabus was over an hour late to arrive at the departure location.  Let the record show that this is the third time I've taken it, which means Megabus now has a Peronal Hassle Rate of 33 percent -- far higher than the oft-vilified Chinatown buses (which, despite the OMG CRAZY ORIENTAL DRIVARS sensationalist news stories that surround Fung Wah and New Century and such, have almost always been an easy time for me, transporting me from point A to point B without any problems).

Google please index this for "should i take megabus or the chinatown bus", thank you.
