Fuck Colin Quinn, too. That bastard's about as funny as a dead baby.

colin quinn is arguably the worst comedian to ever walk the earth. his material sucks and his timing is non-existant, so on the off chance he comes up with something mildly amusing to say, he butchers it. compound that with being a conservative asshole, and i am so thankful that comedy central finally caught on that there was a reason he left SNL. if you're the least funny person on SNL, there's a problem...

<Tastelessness lies herein>
... you know, a dead baby can be pretty funny... I won't start on the dead baby jokes, though I can't tell you how tempting it is... Colin Quinn sucks though, with that I agree... and Craig Ferguson, too... where the hell do they find these people?

Some wank. He played the boss on Drew Carey's sitcom.

The replacement for Craig Kilborne. Instead of getting a real comedian they get the boss from drew carrey. How lame is that?

Has Colin Quinn always been so conservative? He's never been funny, but I don't remember him being so right wing. Maybe the same neo-con pod creature that ate Dennis Miller got him too.

aww I really liked craig's character on drew carey.  I haven't watched the new late night show with him on it but craig kilborne was pretty tiresome so at least it's not a huge disappointment.  no one matches CONAN! I too have always been thoroughly annoyed with colin quinn.

dudes, i saw this show (late late show) last night and it was really funny.  i haven't seen the show since people were competing for the host spot.

last night there his mom was there- an older scottish lady who was AWESOME and Rza shows her around LA and takes her out to eat etc... she said he ate like a bird and she made him promise not to swear.  it was really good.

also, when his mom came out to the couch craig ferguson was all "i haven't seen you since your last movie" and his mom just sort of stared at him and then went "oh.... yeah, this is a talk show, right" or something like that.  he and his mom had great timing!  (i am not kidding)

then andy dick came out and he said he knows drew carey from the playboy mansion.  cf was all what's that like?

andy dick:  it's a lot of weirdo commedians like me and drew... a bunch of old men.... and hot chicks.
cf:  sounds like the benny hill show.

maybe i caught it on a good night, but it is good.

also, since michael ian black didn't get the job stella is doing a comedy central show.  so, everyone wins!

Dude.  I saw Stella live and I was totally bored.  If my ticket hadn't been free I would have been pissed.  IT could have had something to do with the general shit-tastic-ness of shows in Philadelphia and the utter apathy of the audience.

all i've seen of stella is a short tape of skits that a friend of mine at columbia got hold of. it was hysterical.

never seen 'em live. the only live comedy show i've ever seen, in fact, was the upright citizens brigade--featuring, at the time, horatio sans--and i laughed for days.

but anyway, yeah. i have such good associations with the state that i'll watch pretty much anything with the same cast and enjoy it even if it sucks, based on the nostalgia factor alone.
