So I have a question. Back in the day, at least out on the left coast of Canada, in the heyday of this here hairstyle, I never heard the term "mullet". It was always hockey hair. I only started hearing the term "mullet" long after all the actual mullets had long ago left the arena. But it's the only term I hear for it now. Was it always a "mullet" down south where there is no proper appreciation of hockey culture? I want to know if I'm the victim of anachronism or of cultural imperialism here.
