Apparently Gary Glitter is on twitter. If you don't know who Gary Glitter is, look that shit up.

It's funny that Americans like Gary Glitter so much, no one in Britain has even heard of him

Oh we loved Gary Glitter, Rock n Roll Part 2 is a jam.

Then he had to go have sex with children and ruin it all.

Gary Glitter's "I Love You Love" was just about the first record I ever remember playing, as it was one of a very small number of vinyl singles and albums that mum and dad owned when I was 6 or 7. I used to stack them all up on the record player and when each one finished, the stylus would pull back and the next would drop. Some of the others were a Carpenters album, Bridge Over Troubled Water, The Stylistics, Rolled Gold (a Stones double album comp), a couple of Beatles albums (Help! and A Hard Day's Night) and some 50s rock singles - Rock Around The Clock, Peggy Sue, couple of others. That's where it all started for me.

He DID release some good stuff. It's a shame what he turned into.

In Gary Glitter related news, I joked that i'd rather go for a pint with Glitter than Joey Barton, after the two were having a bit of a spat. Barton replied, unimpressed. Queue lots of abuse from Barton's followers.

(sorry for mentioning this, jeb)

It's a shame you gotta be enemies, cause if you put your names together you get Jet (awesome), or Cheb (also awesome).

I got nothing but love for everyone, but some fools intent on trying to turn me into cbs.

Five of those things are Jet, one of those things is Cheb. One is the legendary "Pistol" Pete.

I was really concerned when I saw JET that there would be no Kenny the Jet but then you made it right.

It's weird that there's a Superman and a Jet playing in the NBA, and there's a Superman and a Jet analyzing the NBA on TNT.

But EJ is Magic.

And it's a bit of a stretch to call that analysis. I hope they fire Shaq by the time the playoffs roll around.

I like the Shaqtus on there. Because it's true, they don't really analyze and just fuck around and Shaq is great for that and he's played with (and against) so many players that play today. But if we're talking players-turned-analysts, I like C-Webb and Steve Kerr the most.

They did a lil' bit of analysis. Shaq spoils the chemistry, though. He just can't hang. Plus Kenny Smith is SO fucking pissed off by his very presence, and it's obvious. His banter with Chuck suffers double - not enough time, bad emotions.

Steve Kerr is good. Brent Barry is pretty good sometimes. Webber's good when he analyzes from a distance, but he frequently gets too folky/emotionally invested.

Malik Rose is really good, but he doesn't get much exposure nationally.
