I spent maybe a year thinking Crooked Rain was my favorite Pavement album.

Now: Fuck that. Wowee Zowee all the way. Enormous ruins.

Yeah that was me, too.

Heretic.

For real. Bob Nastanovich was a huge ball of awesome live. I mean, there were a lot of things that made seeing Pavement one of the best experiences of my life, but Bob Nastanovich was a big, big part of that.

I mean, he's basically the MVP (and certainly the coolest member) of Pavement. They would've broken up after Crooked Rain without Bob on board.

Also, last night, "Summer Babe," live, like living in tower, such was our closeness to the stars, etc.

Also I don't know if they've been playing "Kennel District" with any regularity, but I was stoked to feel my favorite Spiral Stairs song live, like dry sun on my skin (it was dark and hot).

Also I never really understood "The Hexx" before hearing it live.

It's a motherfucker.

Oh yeah, definitely. "The Hexx," played live, is heavy metal.

Wowee zowee.

I don't think "Grounded" has ever sounded so beautiful.

That was a great show, probably #2 on my list (out of 5).

Yeah, Grounded, holy shit. The Feb show was the best of the hundreds and hundreds of Pavement shows I had already seen.
