That is adorable. And bitey. But mostly cute.

 Very Happy

spotty little things!

May I suggest potoroos and bilbies if you're after marsupial cuteness.

Bilbies bring chocolate eggs to kids at Easter here (in an attempt to get rid of feral animals doing good things, and the fact that the rabbit is almost solely responsible for the bilby's endangered species status)

I would much rather have an Easter bilby.

It's pretty cool, though not a massive movement yet. Still, if you said to people, "Hey, Easter Bilby" they'd probably know what you were talking about...

27% may be a piss-poor showing for "definitely true", but at least it beats out the other regions, so that's... something.

IF you and a group of people fell down that thing and somehow managed to survive how cool would it be to build an underground society!?  Would it turn into the Phantom Empire?

So how does one go about fixing a hole like that? Just fill it up with dump truck after dump truck? Finding out that it's 200 ft deep is actually kinda disappointing because it looks like that thing goes down forever.

I mean, I don't see a bottom. It looks like it goes down a ways, maybe 200 feet, sure, but then just fucking OPENS UP INTO THE UNDERWORLD.

oh, yeah.  Only 200 feet is kinda disappointing.  Although if I somehow managed to survive the fall, only being 200 feet down could be a very good thing.

Stuff like that happens all the time -- South Africa has one that's almost 900 feet deep, and new sinkholes keep appearing all over the show there and i n parts of Australia and South America. But normally, not in the middle of an intersection. That makes for a great picture.

Better than having it swept under the rug. Or, if GHIGHATRON has its away, first you have it under the rug, then you're in over your head.
