Aha, I knew the Retribution Gospel Choir cover looked pretty familiar, but I couldn't quite place it.

Perhaps this is a little tenuous, as the resemblance mostly lies in the similar colour scheme (though some of the lines are similar, too), but still:

Sloan - Smeared
Lee Hazlewood - Requiem for an Almost Lady

Yeah, I thought the same thing, and it was an annoying thought. Not that you shouldn't have posted about it, just that, I mean, Dum Dum Girls, come on.

Haha! (I have liked both of these records at various points in my music listening history, but haven't listened to either in years)

That's the only Jayhawks album to ever really grab me, but grab me it did.

Yeah, I always thought the guy making the cover art for David Kitt didn't have it in him to do original artwork!

I kid, I kid.

I've given up on asking others to include artist and title in their posts, but you?  You?  Really, I expected better.  *shakes head*

V/A - Music of India (Great Artistes - Great Music).
David Kitt - Not Fade Away.

(I actually have other artwork in the portfolio that is closer to that Indian cover, but none of it has graced an album as yet.  Do you have that album?  Intriguing looking- and I don't just mean the cover.)

Oh look, something has come up during the second week of July.  How unfortunate.

Don't have it, was on that blog with the button accordion LP. As far as I know, it's just a generic EMI sleeve for Music Of India, not specific to any artist.

This is a bit of an intuitive one, but I think Dr.Bob will go for it:
