You might give the rug a trim but the beard+bald combo always worked for me.

my cheeks need a shave. i lost all of the combs on my clippers though apart from the no.4 which was actually a pretty good length to trim my beard at but i went and broke that thing. i dunno if i'm skilled enough to trim with scissors.

When I have a beard (which, prior to last October, was a given), I use the shortest setting all over. The beard grows quicker, though, so I usually end up shaving the beard twice for every one time I shave my head.

haha I forgot about mmc's awesome stache. I came here to post that Mindy has requested that I shave my beard. She says it's because she enjoys the part when it's growing back in. I think it's probably because she wants my mustache trimmed and that's the only way she can think to get me to do it. So I told her if I'm going to shave the beard I'm going to go one full day with just the mustache.

Friday is mustache day. I'm supposed to bring in breakfast for the office so I'm bringing in donuts, fully cop-stached, wearing ray-bans. There will be before, during, and after pics.

It's all going a bit brokeback mountain, I think. which is not necessarily a bad thing.

Where's James Schneider got to? his fabulous beard is upthread. Also I had a dream the other night that all my friends had beards. I was very happy.

Most of my friends DO have beards. It's great.

Last night I was at a ballgame, and went up to get a beer and as I was standing there, there was a girl right next to me staring at me. Without saying anything she petted my beard, and then continued just standing there looking at me, not saying a word. Her friends must have been talking about beards or something before I got there, because one of them turned around and said, "Oh hey, you should get that one." And she said "I just did" and they all laughed and I laughed too because hey, babes petting the beard is okay in my book.
