my friend wants to have a beard-growing contest - neither of us have ever tried before, so i need your expertise. if my face looks like this after almost two weeks of not shaving, is there any hope it could thicken up into a real thing, or should i give up now and be rid of the monstrosity?

Presently growing mine back in. It's been a while. It's at that awkward transitional stage right now, all scratchy and uneven, prickles abounding. It'll get better.

I realized that my beard kind of frames my mouth into a frown, sort of like clown makeup in reverse. Since I'm not generally a person given to smiling anyway, I'm afraid this sort of makes me appear like a frump-a-grump. I'm not a frump-a-grump! Sad
