I went for a brisk walk. I wish it would snow here more often; my humble coastal fishing town wears a coat of snow REALLY WELL.

I am going to spam the fuck out of this thread with some snowporn soon, I hope no one minds

It's weird that everyone's getting so much snow. This winter has been incredibly mild so far in Milwaukee. I guess we're sharing the love or something?

I love it. That is more snow than we've got here since 1965. Once every couple of years we'll get a fine dusting, but it doesn't stick...

I like to think that an "Old Ass Firetruck" is for putting out ass fires.

But only old ass-fires.  You must be at least 60 for the old ass firetruck to put your ass out when it's on fire.

The majority of the snow is gone, and this morning presented a pretty pathetic image: the little kid across the street on his knees in his front yard, wallowing in mud as he scooped up whatever remaining patchy snow he could to add to a misshapen pile I imagine is intended to be a snow man. It was pretty sad, actually, kid's probably five or six years old, had never seen this much accumulation, and was clinging to its dwindling remnants like a junkie on the floor trying to sniff spilt coke out of carpet fibers. Poor kid.

What if all this freak snow is a HAARP project, covering up the change in weather patterns so we got another season without noticing? Hey, we could use a little of that technology over this way... Monitoring system: I'd like to place an order for fresh powder across the Pacific NW tonight, 30cm please.

SNOW!  annoyingly, I did not bring my camera, but from the 15th floor it looks like all of Manhattan is inside a giant snow globe.

Yeah, I was pretty happy to see the snow today.  Unfortunately, I am nowhere near a window.  What part of town are you in, mos?
