Are they gross and oily like sheep are? They look rather like they would be.

No! they're really fluffy. There's a bloke who drives his Mazda 121 around with his alpaca in the back. It sticks its head out the window to fit. He takes it to nursing homes and special schools as therapy, but the cops recently stopped him and said "???" about the head-out-the-window thing, so now he can't take it anymore unless some kind person with a mini-van will drive hime. The alpaca's name is Honeycomb, and he is very cool. The bloke's name is Nils, and he is also fairly cool, but a bit odd, as you might expect from someone who drives a 121 with an alpaca in the back.

I saw some thing about horrible, horrible horrible British aristocrats on 60Minutes last night. These people were seriously the most first against the wall types and made me feel like violence, but one lady called something like Lady Chiswichthornbottom sort of redeemed it by keeping a friendly llama in her living room.

Man, there was one inbred looking fucker who was all (fruity voice) "blasted champagne socialists, I say, shooting's too good for them, what?", and his uglity ass son, (equally fruity voice) "When I inherit the estate, well, that will be the easiest thirty million pounds I ever earn!", oh, and they also said that they weren't priveliged, because they didn't have staff or a rolls or anything. It was definitely like something out of Monty Python.

Has anybody explained to him that 'to each according to his need' doesn't mean that the proletariat will bankroll his trip to Sweden?

I think llama photos are my new favorite sub-genre of 'whimsical animal pics'

Late to the llama party here, because the llamas were part of the city workers strike so I couldn't snap a pic, but these are the llamas who live by my house:
