When I heard the news just now, I automatically assumed it was Will Hart who had died, since he's been so sick for the past however-many years. But nope, this is Bill. I have no idea what happened.

He appeared to have gone peacefully. He died with his guitar in his hands. I thought you guys would appreciate knowing that.

Nuci's Space (http://www.nuci.org/) is an Athens institution. It's true that they provide free counseling for depressed/suicidal musicians, but they also offer cheap practice space for bands that can't afford their own. Outside of playing shows, it's the only place I've been able to play music for the past 4 years or so.

Nuci's Space is a vital and beloved presence in the Athens scene. The fact that the Doss family is encouraging donations doesn't necessarily mean anything more significant than the fact that Doss himself was a supporter.
