I've had "Chasing Penguins" (a mishearing of "Chasing Pavement" that has completely replaced the real lyrics in my head) stuck in my head for like 2 days now, but just when I'm at work.  It's not so bad, because it makes me imagine Adele chasing penguins around.

Consider yourself blessed, adf. I've been on rotation a couple times in the OR, and some of the tunes those surgeons pump into the room could KILL a person. I was like, dudes (cuz it was always dudes) - didn't med school teach you anything? Once a patient's put under, hearing's the last sense to go & the first to come back. Let's use some precautions here!

EDIT: Also, welcome back! Hope your recovery's going smoothly.

Oh man, check out the ARK Music Launch Party video. No FRY-DAY FRY-DAY, but some highlights are: Lil Nene the 11 year old rapper, the terse phoned-in statement by Quincy Jones, "Party Like the Rich Kids", the one girl explaining how spelling it "Armour" constitutes a "play on words," "I'm gonna breathe down your neck/you can guess what's next", etc.

Ever since Greek Easter on Sunday, i've had Makedonia Ksakousti stuck in my head. The upside is that I just found this metal version as a result, which is better than the version I'd had up ins: ten to twelve middle-schoolers singing it in a lifeless drone in the basement of the Orthodox church.
