Come to think of it, I might even go so far as to say that if you had just (for whatever reason) said "do do do do do" without naming the song, I would have known the part you meant but not been able to name the song.  That one's in a weird musical blind spot for me.

I had no idea what song that came from. When I listened to six and a half minutes of CSNY to find out how these do do dos go, I also determined that I dislike CSNY.

I'd love to blame you, Jim, but this goes back quite a fucking while, to a weird listening detour into CSNY after a misguided exploration of the Graham Nash solo catalog.

Kind of a derail, but can someone school me on Judy Collins? My dad listened to her to death while I was growing up, to the point that I've never been able to dis-associate her from my dad's enthusiastic but frankly bad taste. he still says his favorite band is the kingston trio, ack.

But Judy Collins was around at the birth of some pretty great music. "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes" obviously, but wasn't she friends with Leonard Cohen too? And helped get him signed?

If anyone wants to answer ^ ^ this question maybe quote & reply to the random thread?

Back OT: Somehow I still feel guilty, adf. So I found you a foolproof sparrow earworm scrubber.
