Hell yes, Jeb. Good to hear there are things in the works for ya. Quit life and do them all!

We played a fundraiser show in Omaha last weekend and the crazy-good local group of video dudes who we were helping raising funds for filmed one of our new songs. They've been filming live songs of bands around Omaha and Lincoln for about half a year and they do a freaking fantastic job. It's really great to have them here, but I fear/excitedly expect that they're going to outgrow these towns.

Have a look if ya want!

which one of the ginger beardos are you.  I pictured you fatter but also beardier so I'm confused.

I'm the bass player, and I am zero fat because all I can afford to eat is oatmeal and tuna.

Also, that Bus Gas tape dropped on Wednesday and sold out within four hours or something, but the whole album can be streamed or bought at http://bbuussggaass.bandcamp.com We are gonna be DRONE STARS!

I was pretty sure you were beardier but I also thought you were rounder.

I decided to finally put out this album I've been working on since 06 or 07.
http://y-o-u.bandcamp.com/
It's noise hop. A lot of elements of drone and harsh ambient, circuit bent instruments, etc etc.
It was supposed to be a collaboration, that never happened. Plus I had a whirlwind life for a few years there. Anyway, it feels good to be able to have people hear it. Share it if you like it.

that's awesome. i've had so many folks listen to that track, and only a handful pick out the sample, which is sort of weird to me.

I listened to this last week, and no joke man, it's one of my favorite albums of the year so far. Great job!

Going into the studio over the weekend and trying to record 10-15 songs.  Might do the whole bandcamp thing with the material produced.   We played this Vitamin Water show a few weeks ago, which is now funding our studio time  Cool

Really weird studio sesh.  Quasi bad vibes the first 2 days, but we got good takes of everything on the third day.  It's kind of sad that the third day was the only productive one, but sometimes you've got to work up to it, I guess.  Next we do our overdubs and vocals.  Gonna have some top secret guests cook up some stuff, too.

Mice in Cars - Burn the Reader

It's finally finished!  I'm incredibly happy with what we've got here.  Give it a listen!  And let me know if there are any good blogs that you know of I should send it to.

Excellent, man, congrats!

Can't listen to it yet, but I'll make sure to give it a whirl once I get off work.

Ditto, it's a really engaging listen! Unpredictable, shifting, well-produced, noisy, intense (the screaming is coming along excellently). It creeps along rather like a black metal album, or so it somehow seems to me, except instead of screeching and blast beats, you give us hollering and crunchy, post-rock riffage.

Wait, hold on. "Witkin" pretty much is black metal. French black metal.

Anyway, nice work! I'm really enjoying myself!
