hmm. I usually don't check stuff in and they might have a problem with that. I suppose we can try to figure it out? I will ask my Tyrolean buddy who brings over schnapps.

My friends used to pack a load of nips into a zip-loc bag, in order to drink en route. I guess that may not be feasible for international travel or homemade liquor, though.

Oh yeah, I guess it'd only work for checked luggage - I don't think there'd be a problem with it being alcoholic, per se, but obviously for hand luggage, there are pretty strict regulations about how much liquid you can bring. Nevermind, then.

The fact that's homemade shouldn't make any difference (especially as the stuff is legally homemade, with taxes paid on it and all - not that you can see that on the bottle, of course).

Well, if i check my bag on the way back, it's not like it's a pain in the ass, as losing it wouldn't be AS terrible as losing it on the way there. I will see what I am bringing closer to the date!

Hope you arrived here well, other alex? I've been out of town all weekend until just now, and am leaving Tuesday morning already, so no idea what the chances of meeting are. I have plans for tomorrow evening already, but daytime might potentially work. My father did give me some schnaps which I could pass along, in any case. I'm without credit on my mobile phone, but can be reached via the e-mail address in my profile.
