The Dearling-Goldfart family is trying to figure out NYC plans sometime hopefully soon, so hopefully that actually happens, because it'd be good to hang!

Hey folks! My very special lady friend is going to be visiting NYC in early October for some sort of Black Milk meet up or something. She has a hotel for two of the nights she's there, but might need a place to crash the first night, which is Saturday, October 6th. Also possibly a ride from the airport, but that seems like a lot to ask. Anyway, I told her I'd check with LPTJ NY and see if anyone might be able to accomodate. It'd just be one night, and also, she is awesome, so there's that too.

Let me know!

Hey Jeb, I really don't have much space (smallish studio apartment) but I do technically have an extra bed, so if your lady friend is okay with rather close quarters (and a couple of dogs who are serious gluttons for attention, especially from new people), I could probably help out. Good public transportation, peaceful little area. Let me know.

Edit: Extra bed is comfortable. Sometimes I sleep on it just because.

Double edit: I haven't had anyone stay with me yet and my spatial relations skills aren't awesome but I just looked around and think if I moved bed furniture item two into the foyer temporarily everyone would be quite happy. So yeah. My place is an option.

Oh hey, Jeb, I just saw this.  It sounds like Em has you covered, and I'm not positive if I'll be here that weekend or not.  If I am, though, I'd be happy to meet your lady if she wants to get a drink or coffee or something.

Also, I don't have a car, but which airport is she flying to?  Maybe Em already gave you the info, but JFK is actually not to hard to get to/from with public transportation (depending on how much luggage you have), though LaGuardia's a little harder.  Also cabs have a flat rate to Manhattan (though they can be ridiculously expensive to take within Queens/Brooklyn, depending on how far you're going).  If you need any more specific info, let me know.

Thanks MoS! The lovely Em has indeed agreed to put her up for the night, but I can pass on your information if it seems like you might be around and you'd like to meet up.

She's actually arranged transportation from the airport, so that's all taken care of now too.
