oh man, you're going to get me back into wanting a hedgehog. I wonder how my cats would get along with a hedgehog...

I have socks that look kind of like that and that I cannot bring myself to throw away, even though they are more holes than socks at this point; that is how strongly I feel about them. And those socks don't even envelop an adorable baby goat, they're just socks.

Oh man that's cute as hell.
I went over to my friend's place tonight, where he was cat-sitting a smoosh-faced cat. He reminded me of Linus and Hugo in his flatfacedness. His name is Brimley, as he looks a lot like Wilford.

My friends had a flat face cat named Lazarus, but we mostly called him Winston Churchill, because he looked like him.

One of our friends calls both our cats Diabeetus because of Wilford Brimley.

My friend who lives next to Logistical Problem has a kitten. She is about 20cm long and has a crooked spine, which means she may die within 3 months
But I hope not, because she is so cute. She is black with a white tummy and other white bits. I also discovered last night that one of the other flatmates has two turtles and a floppy-eared brown bunny
If I was richer and didn't have a house to look after I would take the room that is going at the flat. I'm there all the time anyway, and I like it a lot.

I take it that the pet thread has merged with the "cute pictures of animals" thread? I am making this assumption based on the fact that pollo doesn't seem like the type who would keep goats. Though if you do have goats pollo, let's talk, I am thinking that blood sacrifice might be the only way to get my hands on some Immortal tickets for tonight. Anyway, here is a cute animal picture
won't someone call pug rescue already?

I have a new cat-fort building technique: cutting up cardboard boxes, punching holes near the edges, then attaching with zip-ties. bonus: if you don't trim the zip ties there are loads of things hanging off to bat at and chew. my cats are happy cats.

as I stepped out of the bathroom just now, Scout leapt in front of me with her legs spread eagle--didn't grab on to me, just leapt in front of me. I'm pretty sure if she could talk she would have yelled, "boo!" I can't stop laughing.

hey-o, if any of you feed your cats only canned food from Wellness, there is a recall due to insufficient thiamine levels:

in other important cat news, there is a new Simon's Cat short:
