It's been fun to see who stayed more or less themselves (we love you Carla!), and who got totally obnoxious from their premium cable package level of fame.  Jamie is fucking terrible this season.

Why didn't they bring back Poppa Bear (Kevin?)  Sad face.

They tried to bring both him and Brian Voltaggio and I think also Stephan back, but none of them would do it. That would have been awesome though.

Carla is the best. Dale L is also awesome. Fabio is also pretty much the same, but I find him mostly annoying just like last time.

Oh also, my nickname of choice for Kevin is Pork Jesus (stolen from the Skillet Doux blog).

I'm more positive toward Fabio this season than last go round.  Same goes for Mike Isabella.

Freddy,

No.

A good friend of mine got permanently banned from Spike's burger joint in dc called Good Stuff Eatery, for loudly and repeatedly (and drunkenly) calling it Spike's Douchey Burgers. True story.

1. Cause the burgers sucked and were like ten bucks and he disliked spike when he was on top chef

2. Because people were talking about top chef and the personalities they like and dislike, and this person got banned from a contestant's crappy restaurant

Wasn't a real good anecdote, though. Self-edit, my man.

I appreciate that, fk. But to be clear I would like to impress upon you that it is not so much about _general_ consumption as it is about _my_ consumption. I like stuff that is important and not about people who cook for sport on the deeper cable tv.

I was thinking about posting something about how Mitch Daniels said that living next to Illinois is liking living next to the Simpsons, would that be all right with you?

Yeah, I meant the faceback guy, but halfway through typing realized that they both looked like massive douchenozzles.
