+ just back from the National Student Action for Refugees Conference.
- weekend in London and I didn't get to see any of my London peeps.
+ Came back with alot of good infomation about work we can do in Nottingham.
- Last time I came back from a conference with plans like these it didn't get to far
+ Had some good drinks and conversation's last night.
- I made some inappropriate suggestions to a straight couple from Southampton.
+ Can't have been that inappropriate, because there were makeouts with both of them.
- A few more joined the "Dom is a little wrong" society.
+ Made plans to hang out with a cool person later in the week.
- weekend cost too much, and I am now pretty broke.
+ I didn't break or lose anything.
- My London people kinda suck.

*big ol' white sweater
*purple fleece zip-up jacket
*Columbia jacket
*scarf wrapped around my head/ears and neck
*hood from aforementioned Columbia jacket
*leather gloves
*fleece mittens

I know I must sound like a major wuss, but I can't retain body heat for anything. It's warmed up a bit...its now -16 with the windchill instead of the -21 it was when I left the house. 2 degrees not counting windchill, even. Toasty!

God that is completely unimaginable to me. I live in Australia, the coldest weather I've experienced in my 22 years was about 3 degrees celsius (37 fahrenheit). I'm used to going through winter with one hoodie and a pair of jeans, max.

- the upstairs neighbors' subwoofer
- people who chat boisterously on the stoop outside my window at 2am
- the damn heat, which is slightly less, but not nearly less enough
- sunburns

basically, all the things depriving me of sleep
