Too early, you say?

Nonsense!

Dudes are playing baseball all over the place and this guy just bought some kickass flip-flops.

In four months or so, no doubt I will be hating my life and the 3 showers a day I'll be forced to take, but right now, I'm dreaming of my porch, my t-shirts, my swimming trunks, my happier girlfriend...

March is an inconsistent bitch, but it'll be over soon enough.

OH BOY SPRING AND SUMMER.  When I will be forced to find the unhappy median between office clothes and clothes that are tolerable to wear in 700 degree heat.

Today I busted out a FALL jacket that I wore twice last fall before the temperature obliged me to haul out the winter coat.  I was super-excited about this, because I expect to wear it once more this SPRING before the warm weather forces me to go without an overgarment.  I'm not joking here; any winter coat I wear gets beat to shit in one year, but I have a full rack of light jackets that I've bought over the years that have barely been touched.

I'd say you should move to Georgia, but you shouldn't, not really.

Oh goddammit, it's still cold here. I need to play baseball soon or I'm going to explode.

A couple weeks ago we had a really nice 70 degree day. My friend Kelly took 2 gloves and a ball and just walked around downtown asking people if they'd play catch with him.

I would've said yes.

I always say yes to catch.

I would've said yes, which would've been followed by the worst game of catch ever.  I played softball when I was younger, but I was only good because I was bigger than everyone.  I was a little girl power hitter when I could manage to hit the ball, and because my legs were so much longer, I was usually one of the fastest runners.

In weather news, it's been lovely here too!  A bit on the rainy side, but we've had the windows open, and my favorite thing in the world is having the windows open.  I get really psyched about it, and once they're open, I don't want to close them for anything.  Paired with the rain, this led to a pretty nasty puddle.

YES.

And my porch door can be like a gigantic bonus window, since the porch is screened in. And man, that sends a nice breeze through my bedroom.

Wonderful.

Zero/Minus 1 or 2 overnight here again - frosty mornings and a very cold wind.

It got a bit chilly here today too.  Needed to pull my little jacket out.
