I am drinking Kataja Olut IVB, which is an example of the ancient Finnish style of sahti beers. It is... Not good. Sour and completely flat. But it's kind of interesting. Educational, say.

Woo! I can't really afford it, but I'm on my own tonight and it was one of these situations:

I finally said "To hell with it!" and bought a bottle of Talisker 10 so that I don't have the constant urge to buy it when I'm out.

Sweet nectar of the gods.
Ain't life grand?

I've got a birthday coming up.  Gonna find a really serious goddamn bottle for that.

I'm drinking Twisted Pine's Ghost Face Killa which is a beer brewed with Ghost Chilis, Habanero, Serrano, and Jalapeno. It's fairly spicy, but it's not THAT spicy. Pretty tasty, though.

I ain't had a drink since Monday. Said I'd go a week. There have been unpleasant moments of craving which make me think a bit of a break was probably a good decision.

:-( Just don't drink too much of it in an effort to find words to describe it. It's worth drinking it sober I reckon.

One of the first Belgian-style IPAs I ever had, and still one of the best.

Sometimes you ask a person to make you a drink, and in so doing leave your drinking up to the whims of another.

Sometimes those whims involve Sunkist orange soda, bourbon, and a stalk of celery.

Maybe it's a joke or a dare or a subtle diss, but this ceases to matter when you're like, "Crunch crunch crunch, well I'll be damned, the orange soda adds just the right level of bubbliness to this bourbon-soaked celery!"

I bet pregnant ladies would be really into this drink, but that's probably not the best idea.

Drinking a buttload of gin so I can fall asleep at 11:30 is a solid pre-job interview tactic, si?

Is a peanut butter sandwich and a glass of water an electrolyte?
