list of edible things in my fridge:
1 small bag of basil leaves
1/2 small carton of red pepper hummus that might be bad, does hummus go bad?
1/2 bag frozen mixed fruit
1 container of whey protein mix

a box of old produce I got when I volunteered at the food co-op a few weeks ago that I swore I was going to use but didn't
a carton of yogurt I haven't opened since august
face cream
some opened cans of curry paste from days when I used my kitchen correctly
various condiments
a bag of frozen strawberries that is frozen into my ice box (I have one a them old refridgerators with an ice box built in that you have to defrost every once in a while)
Oh! a really old jar of homemade strawberry jam
yeah I've been makin' smoothies.

I have TWO really old jars of homemade jam!
These people, they give me the jam jars at Christmas, and I take them home and I put 'em in the fridge, and I take last year's jam jars out of the fridge and so on and so on.

I don't understand how homemade jam makes it through the first week, if it's any good.
(1) Buy or make good bread.
(2) Toast, butter, jam.
(3) Inhale.
Also tasty with plain yogurt.

Simple menu=yummy food.
Maybe not universally true, as it is possible to do one thing and do it badly, but mostly true

OK, after peacocks was like "burger rings? that sounds gross" and then Anne with the donut burger thing, I decided to make myself a burger. It was:
A ring of ground beef
egg in the center
sauteed mushrooms
brie
medium rare, on a toasted poppyseed bun
It might have been the best cheeseburger I've ever had, guys.

Those are probably amazing, NNY. Probably amazing.
I just had some teriyaki chicken and rice covered in sriracha, then the rest of Almanzo's fries. The fries were from McDonalds, 'cause there's a mcdonalds about 1,000 feet from my house.
