yeah i own battlefield 2, and the developers, DICE, are french, which means they do wonky shit. so that game is going to be shit, just because it's french. because french people don't know how to make video games, they know how to grow and wax very thin, very trivial mustaches.

i rented deus ex. i haven't been much for games of late, cept for some multiplayer. but i rented me some deus x. having played the original back in the day, this seems to work for me pretty good. in my head the graphics are simliar. they seem like the same, but it's all bullshit in my head.

i'm into this whole dead island deal n shit. i'm gonna watch reviews like a hawk.

Played Catherine tonight. We made it through the third level or so. The scope of the puzzles is pretty limited - it's a game made of pulling and climbing blocks. It's very good. Everything else - the socializing, the morality system, etc., is total, useless bullshit. But they've made a solid puzzle game.

I just pre-ordered Dead Island. It's out Friday here. IGN gave it a pretty good review. I've been waiting for an open world zombie game since forever.

ive got this ridiculous stack of games sitting here that im halfway through or havent even started (7 games! why did i do this right before everything comes out for the holidays? im a sucker for a good deal on a videogame, as it turns out), and i still find myself really wanting to go buy resistance 3 today. also disgaea 4 came out. im trying to resist that timesink's siren call, but we'll see how that goes. i already relegated dead island and space marine to the buy on the cheap later on pile.

Oh, I noticed that there is A Metal Gear Solid HD collection coming out, with MGS 2, Snake Eater and Peace Walker (why no MGS?!). Will probably get that. 2 was cool until you had to play as the blonde haired girl, and I never got chance to play Snake Eater and Peace Walker looks batshit insane.
