Okay! But now that I have taken a picture I see that they are more impressive in person. Or perhaps more impressive to me. Anyway, behold:
Edit: Also now you have to do it.

Not pictured: the way my triceps now hold rock steady. No more turkey neck, yippee! I love weights so much. Dudes, the scary scale at the gym says I have lost 10 lbs.

I can run better than I used to. It is really, really not saying much, but I am quietly proud.
Also I bought whey protein! Despite the exercise I have plateau'd out and been the same weight for about 6 months. Want to lose 5 or 6 kilos, I'm sure then life'll be perfect.

B your arms are fab!
I am going to the gym for the first time in about 12 years tomorrow. I reckon I'll do a boxing class, which is what I did back then...I finally found a sports bra that fits me, a friend has given me a free 30 day pass, Erik is in childcare, so I'm out of excuses now.

Holy hell this protein shake I made with banana and blueberries in is the most delicious thing I've had in ages. I could get used to this.

Checked in today, my bodyfat has gone down from 35% to 28% in the last 5 months. Pretty chuffed! My weakest area is my triceps. I imagine that by tomorrow I am going to be in too much pain to type.

Nope, this is weight training at the gym once a week with my fearless leader. This quarter my school schedule is less ridiculous so I am going to try to exercise more than once a week. The geek workout is actually pretty sound, but I needed a lot of help with the form, and needed to ensicken my core to the point where I could work out without machines and be stable.

ooo, a fearless leader. Just once a week you say. Interesting. I should try to make room in my budget for one of those. I need discipline and structure.
This week I did a bollywood dance aerobics video with friends, went to a yoga class, and did a pilates netflix video. More bollywood dancing today. Not sure if all these random activities will amount to anything but at least there is movement.

I have been doing a lot of pilates. They are very effective, but today I can't move my legs. Well, they move but it hurts when they move.

Today I went to yoga and the instructor was like, "So instead of doing a hatha sequence we're gonna do 48 sun saluations, ok?"
I live to tell the tale.

Bailed pretty hard in the terrain park today, learning how to take jumps, and smashed my arm on an icy patch. It's so swollen my forearm looks deformed and my riding partner busted her lip doing a face plant yesterday but we're on top of the world. Now if I could only find a joint for the lift this would be my idea of what a day of being active is meant to be.

Well, I went to the gym yesterday. Did the boxing class, which turned out to be contact/partner one, which was cool. didn't feel much afterwards, but could hardly get out of bed this morning. It's great. I loved it. I love exercise classes, depsite being seriously unco, and much slower than anyone else. I also spent 20 minutes walking on a treadmill, which I've never done before, and discovered that my comfortable walking speed is about 7kph, which is why I hate walking around in crowded shopping malls. I need some new shoes though.
