Many sharks are viviparous (= mom provisions embryos with nutrients via placenta or similar structure) for some portion of development, so the photo is probably real.
Let's all welcome Prince William to the group, then.

Love the last one, that's how chicks learn to fly! I reckon lemon sharks give birth to live young...yep, wikipedia agrees with that...

Continuing the avian theme, we have a pair of Collared Doves who visit our garden. They are called Shalawambe and Amayenge. This was taken 10 minutes ago:

I've had mourning doves nest at my last three residences (in order: on a terrace, on a windowsill and in a disused mailbox) so hopefully I'll get a couple at my new place. I think they like me. I like the look of your garden.

it's beautiful! I someday want to live right next to a body of water like that, lake or beach. Last night I had a dream I lived on the west coast and I could see the pacific ocean and mt. rainier from my yard.

I finally put up a bunch of the pictures I took over the summer during my trip to SanFran and Seattle. They are pretty and goofy!

factoid #32532. tree almost got tossed cause the goddamn cats climbed up it last year, and acted like major assholes, busting limbs and being shitty. but i fixed em branches with elbow grease and mushroom juice. man, dug out some paintings the old owner of this house did, dude painted christopher lambert or something...but like as a weird soft-focus angel. you can kinda see it beside a yoda drawin in one of em photos. shit is hilarious.

You know that one simpsons bit where Homer gets all excited about "That Bird! it's DRINKING the WATER!" ? I just used exactly the same cadence of jolly but unintelligent delight to say "That dog! It has a BOW on it!"

man, now i miss my dog!
I'm taking a photography class. photography for graphic designers. as far as i can tell it's just an excuse to teach us some basic stuff about artsy photography. i like it.
most of my photos focus around my friend bryan, who is a pretty important dude in my life.
this is the street he lives on.
Look at the lions in front of this building!
This is the lobby of his building (not the building with the lions). Most of the buildings on this street have lobbies like this. They play classical music and smell like bleach. There's another building a block away that is way, way sketchier than anything on this street. It has a room with a window view into it, with a fountain and elegant chairs. You can't get in there, but you can look.
My friend and I were taking care of my friend's cat. We were convinced the cat wasn't getting enough attention, so we played with it from 10 PM to 5 AM. Then at 5 AM we got in the elevator. There was a puddle. We told ourselves it was apple juice.
This is the building with the lions. The people in the window kept walking back and forth from the window making me paranoid that I was making them paranoid.
Dude came out of his pizza place to watch me taking pictures.
This tv was in the hallway for weeks, then it was move to the stairwell. The woman who owned it is the secretary for the landlords who own this building.
It's an alright street.
