Lots of cute kids!
I went to Storybook Land with my cousin's cute kids, and took a picture of a pheasant.

I am pretty sure that would be unsanitary

I understand that place has a very unforgiving return policy.

I was at a show last night and afterwards I was taking what I thought were random pictures of the bar and then when I went through them I was like "WHAT HO."

Went to the Natural History museum today...
...saw some Gandalfs
...Ellie got frightened by a mechanical T-Rex
Then I went to the Science museum. This is Grace, with my mum's hand...
Ellie did some experiments...
And I saw a WASP synthesiser (I actually used to own one of these magnificent specimens)...
Plus, I paid homage to
Daphne
It was the first day of two weeks off work, and an excellent day indeed.

Those are great pictures, yes!
Also Nick you should be aware that there will be a small mainland LPTJ contingent roaming around London and the surroundings of Cafe Oto from April 9 to April 12 or thereabouts!

Nope, that's on Tuesday already. We (Alex, Trousers & Pat and I) are catching a few dates of the Counterflows festival (Kim Doo Soo + Steffen Basho-Junghans, Josephine Foster + Michael Hurley, Kazuki Tomokawa + Margareth Kammerer, John Tilbury + Marcus Schmickler), plus of course eating a lot of Indian food and walking around the city. I believe I speak for all three of us when I say it'd be excellent if you could meet us at some point!

That's a rather disrespectful way to describe our research project!
It would obviously be excellent to meet you, Nick.

Interesting. I would love to meet up, I'll have to look into it. Mrs Ink is back from a fortnight in Korea next week however, and it's also the second week of my holiday and, significantly, the girls' Easter half-term. I think I might be a bit tied up with school holiday activities and not leaving my jet-lagged wife alone with the wee beasties. I haven't ruled it out entirely though, and might just jump on the fast train to Victoria one day.

Hey, speaking of disrespect, weren't you supposed to come up with a draft of our research design on the 15th?

Okay - of course it'd be quite understandable for you to stay home, but hopefully we can meet anyway!

Bought myself a lamp on the weekend:
Some sort of vintage 1950's Eames era thing with, and I am assured that this is important in some way, the original fabric on the shade. Pretty sweet source of light, although now I have to get a side table for under it that didn't come from Ikea.

Nice!
I am reasonably clueless about these things, but the design of that bit below the shade is a bit similar to one of mine.
Mine's just an imitation of course.
