The newspaper stand at the deli shook like someone opened the door really aggressively, but when I looked up? NOBODY NEW IN THE DELI and the door was fixed in the open position! It could have been anything though I'm just jealous of all the people who felt stuff and knew about it on facebook.

My office went wobble wobble and I thought I was having a Nausea but then I looked to my left, and my coffee was slooshing around a little in its cup.

In the case of slooshing liquids in cups I suggest that you check for a nearby T. Rex first, and seismic events after. Because one of those concerns could be more immediate.

I think that that might be dependent upon the proximity of the t rex to the coffee cup? And not the standard motion for all t rex activity?

You mean like if the T Rex is holding the cup and he moves it up to his mouth kinda sloppy or tries to walk and drink at the same time or if he's on a bus and it hits a bump then yeah I guess it might sloosh.

look I think it's pretty clear that if the T. Rex is close enough to make the coffee sloosh then that is a more immediate concern than a little earthquake. dick.

Maybe the earthquake was caused by dormant T-Rexs emerging from the earth.

Or if you are wearing headphones and the t rex wants to get your attention so he stomps the ground really hard. That would make a coffee sloosh.

They'd most likely just eat you. Even if you were on the toilet.

i was eating an enchilada when the whole thing happened. It was pretty good. Not great. I haven't felt any shaking yet, but who knows when those seismic waves will show up. From what I've been reading about this quake, it's internet presence has spread faster than it's geological presence. This is the danger of these times in which we live. I haven't seen any T. Rexes either, but who knows how fast they travel relative to their own internet presence? Nobody, that's who. I'll keep everyone posted on further developments.

Josh in my head when you said "nobody, that's who" I said it like one of the housekeepers in Mary Poppins. Did you mean for it to sound like that? I hope you did.

I was in a senate office building.  Pretty scary, we're about 100 miles from the earthquake.  It really shook.  It was scary until we got outside and realized it was a quake and not, you know, a terrorist attack or something.
