I feel like a jerk, but because of my absurd audiobook and podcast diet, I wear earbuds as a permanent fashion accessory, and I'll click play and throw an earbud in on my way to the bathroom for two minutes. I also take full advantage of the 2x feature in iOS. I can't imagine listening to non-musical content at standard speed any more.
