I'm not sure this is true (it's certainly not well-sourced, leading back to an anonymous IMDB biography), but says the Wikipedia of Whitesnake's big hit:

though apparently it's reverted back because a friend was stymied in singing along with it on the radio...?

ok so I'm listening to that Belle and Sebastian album from a year or two ago and honestly all I can say is it's not bad? I guess?

like as a whole. some of it is straight up bad.

Last one of theirs I really listened to was Dear Catastrophe Waitress. No excuse for that, though, since I liked Dear Catastrophe Waitress pretty well.

We were in the car today listening to The first XX album. My flatmate asked if I'd heard the new single which I hadn't and she then said it "kinda sounds like Dido". I listened to it and it does.

I remember somebody suggested this idea once in the Departure Lounge, and when I said I thought it'd be a good idea, somebody quoted my post and put "-1" below. I hardly ever get angry, but for some reason I remember that pissing me off.

But yeah, I'd be in favor of such a thread.
