It's possible this is a hoax, but there's a massive 5-alarm fire near Alamo Square in SF right now, and someone who works in a high-rise posted photos that show a white trail leading from the sky directly to where the fire broke out - i.e., METEOR!

Even if it was a random object from space starting a massively destructive fire, is that . . . cool? You nerds got weird styles, man.

I've been reading about the Stop Online Piracy Act and it scares me a little bit. In fact, it scares me a lot because it's fucked up China-style. It doesn't appear to get any attention in the media and only one presidential candidate has voiced an opposition against it...

give me one reason to back anybody but ron paul, you know, besides, "i'm a goddamn fool." he's dangerously honest and you should love him for it, the man has good tactics. i've never voted but would do it for him. (like the rest of the intelligent world.) voting is stupid but i think the world might explode if he doesn't win.

If you've ever voted for a third-party candidate, you know how unbelievably fleet of foot they can be.

wah? RP is not a third party candidate. I like the idea of voting for a third party candidate though because otherwise things happen to stay the same. I like RP, because out of the two big parties he seems to be the only one promoting real change and not faux-change like Obama.

We are constantly told that it is evil to be afraid of third party candidates; it is hardly irrational.
