Yeah, I'll probably watch some combination of that and watching the Braves probably be made fools of by another mediocre left-handed pitcher.
Both of those are about to start and I kinda want to watch some more of this Blue Jays game because I think Henderson Alvarez could be a pretty interesting pitcher this year, and also because dang, Brett Lawrie is really good.

Yeah, Brett Lawrie is pretty good. You know, for a Canadian.

Darvish looks pretty nervy/anxious, already up to around 30 pitches in the 1st, gave up two runs. 80 (!!!) media members from Japan at the game, including 15 separate newspapers.

Yeah, that was pretty rough. Couple of bloops, couple of walks. Couple of decent strikeouts, though.

Yeah he just looks nervous as all hell, he'll be OK once he calms down.

Much better inning there. Couple of easy groundballs to start. That pitch he threw (maybe a two seamer? not sure) to strike out the last batter was nasty. Curveball has been mostly really good. I think it's his two-seamer (might be sinker, not for sure) that he's been wild with/left up in the zone a bit too muchb so far. I think if he simplifies his approach it might go a long way.

Also, I'm more than a little curious if things would be going differently with a better defensive catcher...

Noesi sure settled down himself in the 2nd inning.

Beachy looking real solid. Just keep getting ahead early in the count.

Nevermind. They pulled the ol' 3 errors in one inning trick.

Yeah. Not a fan of Juan Francisco so far. I don't understand how this is better than moving Prado to 3rd and starting Hinske or Diaz in left.

Darvish has settled down nicely and has gotten 8 outs in a row. Aside from that first inning, he's pitching quite well.

Ugh, I'm not sure if I'd rather be stuck with Livan Hernandez or Scott Proctor in the pen. Yeesh.

It's almost as if the Astros had been taking BP off of Hernandez as recently as 2 weeks ago!

Yeah, Darvish got his nerves reeled in, good stuff. I still ain't got enough baseball so I switched over to A's/Royals, hopin' for another Cespedes moonshot. DOING WHATEVER IT TAKES TO BE THE BEST.

Yeah, I tried to switch to that game also in the hopes of seeing Tom Milone throw, but alas the Royals are the one team that I'm blacked out from on MLB.tv.

Have you played around with proxies? I was thinking about giving it a go so I can catch the odd Orioles or Nats games.

Very little, but yeah, I've looked into that before. There are so few Royals games that I actually try to watch that it really hasn't been a pressing thing. But if I was, say, in Iowa and had the Cubs, ChiSox, Cards, Royals, Twins, and Brewers all blacked out then I'd be all over that shit.

Explain this proxy business. I often find myself away from my TV (but with my laptop) when the Braves are on.

Here's a pretty good walkthrough on the proxy thing:
http://mlbtvblackout.blogspot.com/

Or for a quick and dirty solution you could just go to firstrowsports.eu and watch a pirated stream.

Good link! I've also read you can set proxies using Firefox and/or Chrome extensions.
