Not sure whether to put this in the TV thread or the School thread, so I'll just dump it here because it's making me happy: The first four annotated bibliographies I've graded for my most recent assignment have been awesome. So far I've got proposals for essays on the role of health care as a motivating factor in Walt & Hank's actions, the psychology of addiction in relation to Jesse, the psychology of materialism in relation to Walt, and the myth of the American Dream as constructed by the show. Teaching a season of narrative drama is one of most awesome things I've done in grad school.

I am finally sinking into a jobless routine. It has been a LONG time since I've been nothing but at student. It's amazing.

I'm doing ALL of my readings. I'm learning a lot. I'm reading LPTJ again. I've been working out. I've been cooking delicious dinners. I'm volunteering. I'm sleeping every night!

I haven't felt this relaxed and healthy in a long, long, long time. So I feel pretty damn lucky!!!!
