Third in scoring in my other league, first in this one. Out of contention in both. Had DeMarco Murray and his exploding ankle in both leagues, so.
Years like this make leagues that give a "home field advantage" to the higher seed-- ie, a lead before games start equal to the average difference in the teams' scores or some other arbitrary amount-- more appealing.
Then again, there's something beautiful about all four lower seeds winning.

My work league went about the same way, I had a ton of points despite autodraft sticking me with Peyton Manning and Sam Bradford to start the season, but due to dumb luck I missed the playoffs completely. I've got the #1 and #2 seed in my two other leagues, so we'll see how I manage to blow those two.

Anywho, see you bitches in the consolation bracket.

I'm currently in the negative in my reverse league playoff, because the usually-reliably-bad Seattle DEF intercepted Hanie for two TDs. That is bad in a reverse league.

i need antonio brown + vernon davis to get 9 more points than mike wallace.  i'd be in a lot better shape if i'd remembered to start atlanta's D... or if i could get some of those extra 70 points i DIDNT need last week.

In real football neither of these teams would have been in the playoffs. They might not have even been bowl-eligible.
