And here is 2009: http://www.mediafire.com/?7k971wby06mz4k1

And here is 2010: http://www.mediafire.com/?6y0qvj1hej40j2z

You should be able to see the tracklistings fairly easily, right? They're zip files.

Please let me know if something's not working right or if there's a better way to do it. I'll be posting these shits on facebook later this week.

Oh, and all three mixes are on spotify, too:

http://open.spotify.com/user/davygibbs/playlist/60V6ws54igMtghMy1VToGN
http://open.spotify.com/user/davygibbs/playlist/2lL17fVsjQDBWvZufc3b2M

...except that since spotify only had about 75% of the original tracks, I had to substitute some lesser stuff. So these aren't official.

That there Zooey Deschanel and M Ward band put out a Christmas CD this year. Listening to it in the car is most relaxing.  One of the song's fades out with backing voices murmuring "Christmas comes this time each year" which is curiously reassuring in the same way as remembering the years that different things happened.

I also love Low's "Just Like Christmas". My conventional pick is the Darlene Love song from Phil Spector's Christmas record.

The She & Him xmas album may be the best thing they've done. They are extremely well-suited for such a thing. It's nice and pleasant and relaxing and pretty and comes on red vinyl!

"The Christmas Waltz" is my favorite of the bunch, and it got the nod for this year's mix. Zooey's voice is perfect for it, even if it isn't perfect for much else.

She & Him, indeed! No wonder I didn't spot it mentioned (I did try to remember the band name, but I don't think I've even seen the cover, actually. One of my ladyfriend's purchases). Yes, I like it.

I was looking for Greg Nog and then I found Greg Nog, and Heaven Knows I'm Christmassy Now, by my imaginary online friend, Rhodri.
