I am Boney Dog McGee, or, if I use both of the initials of my first name, Boney Washboard Dog McGee.

My full board name, Ignatius J. Ignatiusthwaite, translates to Happy Fingers Malone, which sounds more like an vaudeville-era pervert than a blues musician.

the best possible blues name--Washboard Gumbo Malone.

Holy shit, that is fantastic.

Mine's another boney one, but I'm keeping it: Boney Eye Brown. It's cyclopean!

Of course, to make the calculator historically accurate, we'd need to eliminate step 1 and make everyone's first name "Blind".

Chicago blues isn't really the type of blues this thread is about, but it's got to be closer to the thread's spirit than the blues name derail. Smile Here's a video I just found that was made as part of a (doomed) effort to save Chicago's historic Maxwell Street neighborhood, considered the birthplace of electric blues. I think I'd be more interested in a longer look rather than this since it's more of a propaganda piece to support the preservation effort but it's kind of cool anyway, and has some good music. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Q4XbmaGG2c

Shit, I didn't even notice that. That was an abrupt stop for such a lovingly built project. I hope nothing bad happened.
