He reminds me of a woman who was going to teach me to make hats.  I walked into her boutique, and she looked at me, and she said "do you want to learn to make hats?" and I said "yes I guess I do!" and she wrote down my name and number and called me a month later.  She was from quebec and she was missing several teeth.  She wanted $300 for three months of hat making lessons, with real felting and real antique hat molds.  So I showed up with another woman who owned and organic farm and was going to teach me to knit.  And we had tea and talked about hats.  But then we drove around to thrift stores looking for felt and she spent the whole time looking at old wedding dresses and we (the other woman and I) decided she didn't know what she was doing and we couldn't really afford $300 to be friends.  I'm going to name my next cat after her.  (Her name is Lila).

around the same time i was taking a creative writing class at the university.  I wrote a story about Lila.  Afterwards a woman in the class came to me and told me she had also been a hat maker in Montreal, and I should show her my hats if I ever make any.  I never talked to her before but I always liked her because she wore cool boots and wrote really great stories that she read out loud in her eastern european accent.  (I never read anything out loud).   We would have been friends but that was the last class she went to.

And also I never haven't made any hats yet anyway.

How do them X-Files hold up after all this time? They been taunting me, teasing me on Netflix Instant but I ain't caved.

I dallied a bit with some old X-Files episodes last year, and found them to be pleasantly and surprisngly creepy! That said, I lost interest after half a dozen or so and completely failed in my mission to watch the entire series start to finish.

Awesome, I'm eager to re-watch it! I was only a casual viewer of The X-files but that episode made a lasting impression on me (which is amazing 'cause I've only seen it once...12 years ago)

I like them! Sometimes they are pretty creepy! I watched them regularly as a tot with my dad before he took me home Sunday nights. It's kinda cheesy and silly sometimes, especially in the first season which im watching now, but that is just as entertaining as the creepy stuff
