4 years ago, you'd get 140 new topics and 10K posts a month, now it's a quarter of that. I think that'd be a good idea. I also think that someone other than L should have admin access to deal with all the spambots and stuff. Who that person would be, I'm not sure. But I think it'd be a good idea.

I asked her for spambot-vetting powers last week!  She said sure, but that she had to figure out how to do it, and with young Roman doin' his thing, this seems to be low on the list of priorities.

Looking for apartments is really weird.  Especially when you're looking for a room in an apartment.  I emailed guy who has a clean, cheap place in an interesting area (I really like the place) and asked if cats were okay.  And he sent me this

He called me tonight at 11:40 PM to tell me the cat was okay but he had to take a few days to imagine living with a cat.  He talked for 40 minutes about a lot of apartment related stuff.  His son (19) also lives there, but he just moved in recently.

I liked him!  He seems nice and considerate not remotely creepy (but a little weird).   Should I live with an old stoner dude and his son?  

edit: I'm going to look at the place on friday.

i picture him living the next few days tripping over invisible cat, and waiting with the door open while "cat" decides whether he wants to go out or not, just to go back in, and being woken up by a cold "cat" nose in his face, and talking to "cat" and telling cat to stop clawing the couch.
