and whatever that arthouse theater is, I liked it--saw Open Water there, which was so-so, but I remember the marquee reading "Yuppies vs. sharks," a nice touch.

ooh, and the revival of Wattstax, too!

I've only stopped briefly in St. Louis, but it always seemed cool.  Tons of old awesome buildings, and it seems like the living is pretty cheap there.

I've definitely enjoyed the time I've spent in St. Louis. The City Museum is just great, and the random folks I've talked to while there were generally friendly. My cousin moved there recently and likes it a lot, so I should probably go back again one of these days.

I spent a week or so in StL. My best buddy's brother was as WUStL and living in a group house, smoking lots and jamming all night with a bunch of Dead Heads. It was a surprisingly good time.

it's stuff like this that makes me rethink my position on no tattoos. almost all of those look really cool. it'd look really weird/cool as hell if I got a map of the state of florida's water bodies with no state boundary or anything.

I have the flu and so went home straight after a meeting to work there. So I missed an email saying 'thanks for coming to the meeting even though you were sick. Free pie in my office if you are still here'. Man, if anything could make having a cold be even less cool it is missing out on pie.  Crying or Very sad

My class had a reunion at 11 years because nobody (out of 645 people) responded to the first attempt to organize a reunion in the 10th year. Shows how much most people care?

I did not go, and imagine that most reunions are somewhere in between shitshow and depressing. At least for huge public schools.
