I used to write all the posts at work. That was a pretty great deal. I can't do that anymore though.

Fuck a Tumblr though. Commenting on shit and trying to have discussions on there is annoying as fuck.
Yeah, I hate that shit.  My favorite rap blog (cocaineblunts) moved to tumblr (tumblinerb), and as a result we can no longer engage in extensive comment-section conversations about Lil B and such.

 Sad

Oh man for real. I just cannot abide even having to look at it, mostly.

Starting a new website and already deeply irritated with Wordpress. My needs are different because this isn't a personal site. It'll be self-hosted for one. But sufficiently unbloggy that Wordpress is feeling deeply crufty right now. Considering one of these static blog generators like Pelican. But I am fearful of having to do too much theming. The thing is young but there's obviously much work ahead of me.

You need something more like a full-on CMS? Those have been way more of a pain in the ass when I've worked with them

The thing is, I don't need a full-on CMS. I need Wordpress to allow me to rip more features out of it.
