Being paid for your photo and having admirers will do that for calming the inner critic but just look at Lindsay Lohan's premature jowls and tell me that unhealthy habits don't affect perception more then perpetual denial of personal problems. Considering the constant empowering quotes on that plus-sized model's blog you can tell she's got esteem issues but it's sexier when a person is on top of their game.

If you're eating everything but the chicken asshole, you're wasting perfectly viable nutrients and foodstuffs. I'm not trying to get up on my soapbox and be all "meat is murder," but we owe it to an animal who has given its life for us--you don't simply throw out the parts that are hard to cook with.

I think of it as the "Pete Sullivan," too after a lawyer with a frequently-airing commercial in my hometown.  It featured him doing a voiceover while rolling up his sleeves, and shots of him up late reading law books, looking real tired. He was serious business.
