davy, I hope this doesn’t sound weird—but L looks a little bit like Katee Sackhoff!

I KNOW, RIGHT?! It's not a coincidence I ended up with her. Smile

(I'm always telling her this. She denies it. Please mention it on facebook sometime so I can prove it to her! The engagement announcement photo I just shared is an even better example!)

Nothing too strange about wearing sunglasses over regular glasses. Glasses people don't deserve crows' feet any more than anyone else.

When you live in the land that the ozone layer deserted these are a real thing. I have at least one pair, and then regular sunnies for when I'm wearing my contacts.

My dad has clip-on sunglasses that he loves. I have transitions and I love them—would never wear sunglasses otherwise probably, or would lose them or my regular glasses. The current transitions are pretty good too, they have ones that switch super fast, ones that work in the car and ones that transition to be super dark if that's your preference (though I actually like that mine never get that dark, because I don't like really dark sunglasses).

Man I really need a new suit that fits. Also a good tailor to take in all of my old suits and shirts.

Aaaaaand, I just realized that nobody could see that photo because L is the one who originally posted it and it's not visible to anyone who isn't also a friend of hers. So, fixed that. I was wondering why nobody seemed to care that I got engaged!

Excellent! I went looking for that pic, but couldn't find it. Sorry I didn't give you the feedback - too busy...

I decided I like shirts that fit, so I went back to the overseas outsourcing suit store and ordered more shirts.

You looked damn good in that business before, so it was a solid decision.

mine is the four holed kind. i generally enter through the largest of the four. sometimes the second largest if it's inside out. there's a small rural man printed on the front. he's holding a sign.

I own no white shirts, for I am a grot with grotty children :-) I very much like the idea of a four-holed shirt.

I'll be real. My white shirts tend to have a short life span as they quickly move to the "I can't wear this in public because it has weird yellow pit stains" section of my closet where apparel is left to rot.

I have one white button down in circulation right now. I treat it like a precious and fragile thing.

I tried to treat the last white shirt I bought like a precious and fragile thing. I put it on and said to myself, I am  a grownup who can drink coffee while wearing a white shirt and being all superstitious about it is dumb. I then spilled said coffee down my white shirt somewhere in the half-block from getting coffee to work. The day after I got it.

I have tons of white shirts with all kinds of stains on them because that is the circle of life.

I don't usually worry about spilling coffee but if I'm wearing a light shirt I'll be damned if I'm eating curry or spaghetti or basically anything with drip potential because I'm basically a big sloppy 5 year old when it comes to eating
