I like Peep Show a lot, but it always feels like such an emotional drain on me that I rarely feel in the mood to watch it.
Also only very seldom did I get this over the course of ~40 episodes. The POV/internal monologue gimmick makes it so frenetic and talky, there really aren't a lot of moments for awful, squirming proximity embarrassment to really spool out as it does in shows like the UK Office. There are still episodes of that I can barely sit through.

peep show is really great. I've only watched episodes spotted throughout its run and I am usually confused by the relationship between mark and his gf/wife/thing but it's always hilarious. The most memorable episode for me is probably when everyone does shrooms and mark has to shit and Super Hans (or whatever his name is) breaks down the door and Mark's boss comes in while he's trying to shit and it's just totally awful. I almost died laughing.

I don't feel that emotional drain the way I do with, say, The Office. With Peep Show, it's more a reflective thing, the way it makes me feel to know that I am relating so strongly to people so absolutely terrible.

Why does Hulu only have parts of some series? I find that irritatingly short sighted. Maybe it's not that way if you watch it on your computer. But why would I start watching your show 3 seasons in or 8 episodes in?

Honestly, that's why I watch shows like "Revenge" and "Grimm" ... because, no they aren't good, but yes, at least they put the whole thing (or what's there) on hulu so I put it on in the background while I do other shit.

I would watch Law and Order: Community every week if they kept making it.

I had a hard time focusing on what was going on over the sound of my own incessant, uncontrollable giggling.

I actually thought the live 30 Rock episode was hilarious, too. The minstrel show with Jon Hamm floored me.

I think Britta chiming in about her how she can help as a Psych major was the best comedic timing they've had all season so far.
Also a lot of the actors were pitch-perfect doing L&O-style acting, but HOLY GODS, Fat Neil's rifling through papers in the key room was fucking STELLAR.

Agreed with all of this! All four NBC shows had really strong episodes this week, even the 30 Rock live show was really really funny.

Can't you watch it on Hulu or the NBC site?

You should watch one of the two broadcasts now, so enough time has passed that you can watch the other broadcast with them and enjoy it.

My friend LOVED it and strongly encouraged me to check it out.
I downloaded it but never watched it.

Only saw the pilot, but I was really impressed! The only reason I didn't watch more was that it was a little too realistic—so many extremely dysfunctional people. Another therapist I know couldn't really take it for the same reason. (Also why I'm not sure I'm going to keep watching Nurse Jackie, despite thinking it's a good show—the rehab stuff is a little too much like all the stuff I want to be unwinding from.) Will probably watch Enlightened at some point though, maybe when I'm doing less clinical work.
Do other people have that issue? Do the lawyers in the crowd not like watching legal shows, etc?

I just noticed that the Community episode was called 'Basic Lupine Urology', which is a joke so astoundingly corny that I can only assume that the network people didn't get it, or didn't notice it.
