Love these guys.

They did some sick stuff with Leadbelly, too.

Didn't know about the Leadbelly, but yeah, they were top of the game for decades, as I understand it. Once they hit NYC they never left.

We should start by sounding off with how many Lil B tracks we have in our iTunes:

I have 316, 319 if you count "Grove Street Party" from Sorry 4 The Wait and a couple Soulja Boy tracks

Jesus, I can't believe Banner was born "Crump". I almost feel sorry for him. But when I listened to the track Lil B knocked back, I thought he deserved everything he got. What a puff piece.

Today I've been listening to Evil Red Flame mixtape for the first time, and it's blowing my mind. Brad's right, this guy's thought out the whole flame progression from the get-go. What's that line in "I'm God" about welcome to my world, 32 levels or something? He wasn't kidding.

Actually I never downloaded that thing. I see now that that scans weird, but no, I have 316 Lil B tracks, 319 if you count features.

477.  No absurdly-huge-myspace-mixtape - I never got that because I didn't have any room left on my old computer.

Also, yeah, Lavell Crump is the second best natural-born-rap-name I've ever seen.

I AM DOWN WITH A DEDICATED LIL B THREAD. I have 280 Lil B traxx, not sure what all I'm missing

Second question, borrowed from that Millster thread: what's the one Lil B track you need? Me, if I had to, I'd delete 'em all but keep "Im A Mechanic"

fishjim, you should probably add "WOW * RARE * " to the thread title though.

If I'm honest about Thermo's question, I'd say "I'm God," but outside that obvious answer, "Prayer to Music" from Red Flame Devil Music gets me every time. "I be talkin to the mic like a pastor"

I did download the Myspace thing, which will put me well over 700. I only ever listened to the first maybe (maybe) 100 of them though. But still, I win, right?

My favorite was his Mm...Christmas mixtape, which he described as "RARE GOLDEN COLLECTABLE"

Thermo, can you tell what 3 notes are being repeated in Hellraiser? Curious what chord it is.

This is an easy one, no chords, just the notes F#, up a minor 7th to E, down a step to D. So, mi re do except with the mi in the next octave down. There is also a hint of a suspended 4th in there, and also we're in D Mixolydian here instead of any real key
