Plus I'm over 6 foot, and I live in a mixed-race neighborhood in a major urban center.  BUT I'm over 30. On a scale from "winged from across the street" to "in the face," how shot do I deserve to get?

A small cohort of blacks—in my experience, around five percent—is ferociously hostile to whites and will go to great lengths to inconvenience or harm us. A much larger cohort of blacks—around half—will go along passively if the five percent take leadership in some event. They will do this out of racial solidarity, the natural willingness of most human beings to be led, and a vague feeling that whites have it coming.

Yeah, mainly because it was staving off the general election phase. As Romney's moved from defending himself to attacking Obama, it's really dawned on me how awful this election is going to be. Shoot me now.

Like, obviously not because I think Obama is above criticism, but because Romney's criticisms of Obama all sound so painfully pat and market-tested ("Obama says he didn't cause the recession. He's right. He just MADE IT WORSE.") He'll say a catchphrase all awkwardly, then pause and blink, then say another catchphrase all awkwardly. This is going to be painful.
